Price Action Pattern Detector at Key Levels

The Price Action Pattern Detector identifies high-probability candlestick patterns — pin bars (hammers/shooting stars), engulfing patterns, inside bars, and rejection wicks — but only when they form at key levels (previous day high/low, Order Blocks, VWAP, round numbers). Patterns that occur in the middle of a range with no structural context are filtered out, dramatically improving signal quality.

كيف يعمل

Pattern detection on closed bar: Pin Bar (lower_wick > 2× body, upper_wick < 0.3× body = bullish; vice versa = bearish). Engulfing (close[i] > open[i-1] AND open[i] < close[i-1] = bullish). Inside Bar (high[i] < high[i-1] AND low[i] > low[i-1]). Rejection Wick (single wick > 60% of range, body < 15%). Key Level proximity checked: pattern must be within Key_Level_ATR_Mult × ATR of a known level.

  • Bullish: Pin bar / bullish engulfing / bullish rejection at support key level → BUY
  • Bearish: Shooting star / bearish engulfing / bearish rejection at resistance key level → SELL
  • Inside Bar breakout: Trade in direction of inside bar breakout at key level
  • No-Trade: Pattern not near any key level → ignored
  • No-Trade: Doji pattern → indecision, no signal

  • ✕TP: Price reaches entry ± (TP_ATR_Mult × ATR)
  • ✕Reversal: Opposite pattern detected at same or opposite key level
  • ✕Expiry: Signal_Expiry_Bars passed

  • Key Level Proximity: Pattern must be within Key_Level_ATR_Mult × ATR of a level
  • Session: Only signal during configured session hours
  • Spread: Spread > Max_Spread_Points → no signal
  • Cooldown: Last signal < Cooldown_Bars ago → no signal
  • ATR Regime: Extreme volatility → no signal

الأسئلة الشائعة

خطأان شائعان: (1) Pin bar كانت عند المستوى الخاطئ — Pin bars في منتصف النطاق تفشل أكثر من تلك عند الدعم/المقاومة الواضحة. (2) نسبة الفتيل إلى الجسم كانت على الحدود. إذا كان Pin_Bar_Wick_Ratio هو 2.0 لكن الفتيل كان بالكاد 2× الجسم، كان الرفض ضعيفًا. للحصول على ثقة أعلى، ارفع Pin_Bar_Wick_Ratio إلى 2.5 أو 3.0 — هذا يصفّي إلى أكثر الرفض دراماتيكية. Pin bars الأكثر موثوقية لها فتائل 3-4× الجسم وتتكون عند قمم/قيعان اليوم أو حدود التأرجح.
